Ahmed and Associates was founded in 1998 by Ahmed Shaikh. Today the firm houses an experienced team of design professionals that bear a unique understanding of interior and architectural designing- from, cultural Understanding and geographical conditions meeting up to proper financial terms and program requirements, the firm encompasses projects such as hotels, luxury resorts and bungalows, clubs, office buildings, hospitals, executive offices, boutique hotels, branded showrooms as well as Specialty restaurants.
Ar. Ahmed was fascinated by the world of design since an early age decided to pursue Architecture. Even before getting admission into a design school, he joined Architect Hafeez Contractor in 1988 and spent the first five years of his professional practice working on different interior and architectural projects, He became an Associate architect at Architect Hafeez Contractor within a few months after graduating from college and went on to work until 1998 in association with Architect Hafeez contractor and in the same year he opened with his own practicing firm Ahmed & Associates where he follows the design philosophy “Function follows Form – Architecture persists as one of the most profoundly important reflection of culture and tradition, and he truly believes in that. His belief is in seeking and sharing knowledge, which led him to become a visiting faculty at M.H. SabooSiddique Polytechnic, Mumbai (1994-1997) and also a visiting jury member at SNDT College at Churchgate since 2006. As well as we had designed various exhibition stall for several companies, since past several years Ar. Ahmed has been standing as a Jury member for ACETECH.

The firm has designed hotels, luxury hotels, clubs, commercial buildings, hospitals, as well as high end residences. The team also provides services ranging from art procurement, graphic and signage program to uniform table top design. With more than a decade of experience and several important projects in the pipeline, Ahmed & Associates has positioned itself as a leading name in the specialized field of hospitality design.

Hyatt Place –Unique Experience
Hyatt Place is a set out in the Centre of InfoTech Park, Hinjewadi (Pune)designed in minimalistic style of architecture. Centrally located and within wafting distance from the magnificent Grand place. The hotel pays an elegant tribute to the location from which one can enjoy the view of the surrounding area.
The minimalistic style of the façade is brilliantly translated into the interior of the building, which has been done with the idea of following the latest trend of fusing different styles of architecture.
Design Optimization:
Experience in the field of hospitality with the right material palate helped in designing a maintenance free material which turned cutting down of the project cost making it “Economical”. The mood lighting, detailed designs on floorings, the wood finish spell an intricate charm in the premises of this opulent space.
Aura of interior is a direct retreat of luxury and authenticity, inducing an environment of character and identity of relaxed setting. The pursuit of an ideal traveller’s inn is evident in the focus given to interior particularities and the site language. Rooted in the co-existence of the animate and the inanimate, the opulence marks the exclusivity of the project in its niche.
The ground floor houses two meeting rooms with a pre-function area that can accommodate 300 Visitors, serviced with pantry and toilets. Flexibility in terms of function and to design a self sustaining unit was the key ideas behind its design and planning.
Better sound insulation, with equipped high end audio visual system and bright litout by LED lights addresses the architects concern and interest in sustainable design.
Restaurant:
The hotel houses restaurant with an open kitchen and a bar counter which is the longest buffet chain of Hyatt Place in the world, blend with the mixture of contemporary and stylish interiors.
The restaurant offers an amazing view of the pool with a water feature and well placed patio umbrella seating’s and pool side sun beds.
Guest bedrooms:
Designed in a contemporary setup the rooms are equipped and decked with world class amenities featured with artworks. All the 117 guestrooms are done in a contemporary design with welcoming daylight through the high ceiling windows. The view from each room is a delightful experience of the surrounding and the well-designed pool area.
Evershine keys – Resort
Evershine Resort is an upscale 5 star resort located amidst in the lushly green and strawberry covered valleys of Mahabaleshwar, designed to deliver an unprecedented hospitality experience at par with the best resorts.
The 06 acre property boasts a classical style of design, dominated by stonework and marble statues that hark back to the renaissance. The stone finish arched openings, classical low pitched tile roofs and the projecting balconies work together in harmony to create a grand facade. The beautiful landscape with intricately carved marble statues exemplifies the beauty of the property in Mahabaleshwar.
The resort offers 90 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, two banquet halls, a health club and a swimming pool. One of its suite room is designed as per colonial style, while the other suite rooms are crafted according to Thai influence.

Hospital atmosphere and environment can without a doubt alter the course of recovery and wellness of patients. Top priority being to disguise the hospital setup in a warm and friendly atmosphere, so that each visitor would look forward in visiting back. The interior of the hospital has been designed focusing on this physiological aspect.
